Dear John, 

Last week, PA House Republicans booed and walked out on the United States Capitol Police Officers that bravely defended our democracy during January 6th.

Officers Harry Dunn and Aquilino Gonell were both wounded in the line of duty defending our nation's Capitol building from rioters and insurrectionists whose goal was to overturn the results of a free and fair election. They put themselves in harm’s way to protect our democracy, and they were met with the utmost disrespect from our House Republican colleagues.

Make no mistake: Republicans don’t want to acknowledge what happened on January 6th, and they vilify the heroes that put their lives on the line to uphold law and order. 

The stakes are high this November. The other side has shown us what they stand for. Can you chip in and stand with me in defending our democracy and honoring the courage of our nation’s law enforcement?
