APRIL 15, 2020: In terms of the pandemic ([link removed])_pandemic,_2020) , 60% of voters believe the worst is yet to come. A Scott Rasmussen ([link removed]) national survey found that just 16% believe the worst is behind us and 24% are not sure.[1] ([link removed])
The survey was completed just two days before New York Governor ([link removed]) Andrew Cuomo ([link removed]) publicly declared that the “worst is over.”[2] ([link removed])
As on just about everything these days, there is a significant partisan divide. Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats ([link removed]) believe the worst is yet to come, a view shared by just 49% of Republicans ([link removed]) . Independent ([link removed]) voters are in the middle with 58% believing the worst days remain ahead of us.[1] ([link removed])
