Fellow American,
I never imagined that a video call would be an important part of our holida=
y celebrations.
For many Americans, holidays like Easter and Passover are marked with gathe=
ring for a religious service, for a family dinner, and for the traditions w=
e grew up with and are now passing on to our kids and grandkids.
But although the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is keeping us apart from l=
oved ones, we have found new, creative ways to come together and stay conne=
cted on our most important days.

That could be a holiday dinner shared through a phone or laptop screen. It =
could be a handwritten card or a long phone call or a scheduled video chat =
-- or even long-distance book reading, movie watching, or cooking lessons.
But no matter what form it takes, the goal is the same: to stay connected w=
ith our family, near or far, because our family strengthens, renews, and su=
pports us, especially in these uncertain times.
This month, the American Principles Project has put a special focus on stre=
ngthening American families so we can navigate these challenging times with=
hope, rather than fear. I hope you and your family will join in this proje=
ct with us.

This unprecedented time has shown us that our families have never been more=
deeply needed for support in our lives =E2=80=A6 but sadly, they=E2=80=99v=
e never faced greater strain in our culture and greater threats from local,=
state, and federal government policies.
The daily work of the American Principles Project -- and your support, as a=
pro-family activist -- is to protect children, to empower parents, and to =
defend the American family in our culture and at the state and federal leve=
l.
Our shared efforts are essential to the challenges that may be ahead of our=

I never imagined that a video call would be an important part of our holiday celebrations.
For many Americans, holidays like Easter and Passover are marked with gathering for a religious service, for a family dinner, and for the traditions we grew up with and are now passing on to our kids and grandkids.
But although the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is keeping us apart from loved ones, we have found new, creative ways to come together and stay connected on our most important days.

That could be a holiday dinner shared through a phone or laptop screen. It could be a handwritten card or a long phone call or a scheduled video chat -- or even long-distance book reading, movie watching, or cooking lessons.
But no matter what form it takes, the goal is the same: to stay connected with our family, near or far, because our family strengthens, renews, and supports us, especially in these uncertain times.
This month, the American Principles Project has put a special focus on strengthening American families so we can navigate these challenging times with hope, rather than fear. I hope you and your family will join in this project with us.

Fellow American,
I never imagined that a video call would be an important part of our holiday celebrations.
For many Americans, holidays like Easter and Passover are marked with gathering for a religious service, for a family dinner, and for the traditions we grew up with and are now passing on to our kids and grandkids.
But although the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is keeping us apart from loved ones, we have found new, creative ways to come together and stay connected on our most important days.

That could be a holiday dinner shared through a phone or laptop screen. It could be a handwritten card or a long phone call or a scheduled video chat -- or even long-distance book reading, movie watching, or cooking lessons.
But no matter what form it takes, the goal is the same: to stay connected with our family, near or far, because our family strengthens, renews, and supports us, especially in these uncertain times.
