A common saying I've always kept in mind is that "all
politics is local."

That's why Tom and I have been promising you all year that
there's a new DNC in town that is investing in every
community across this country. We're getting back to basics,
and investing in the power of true grassroots organizing.

It's taken a lot of work, but the ground game we all
contributed to in Virginia and Alabama led us to victory.
When we build power at the local level, we are unstoppable.

The only way to defeat the Republicans is by building a
national, people-powered movement prepared to take them on.
That's the winning mindset we need to have going into 2018
-- and that's why I am asking you to step up before our
important FEC fundraising deadline:

Investing locally allows us to talk to voters about what's
going on in their communities, and what changes they need to
better support themselves and their families.

Investing locally means having more folks on the ground
spreading the word about strong Democratic candidates who
are determined to fight for our values.

Investing locally includes developing the tools and
infrastructure we need to bring more people into the
democratic process.

Samuel, grassroots organizing in our communities is how we
win. It's what we'll need to do next year to take back the
House, gain seats in the Senate, and stop Trump's agenda in
its tracks.
