John, I just wanted to start this edition of the Logan Lineup by saying a BIG thank you from the bottom of my heart.
On Monday, I was nominated as the official Republican Candidate for CT-05. I am incredibly honored to have received the unanimous support of all the delegates at the convention - THANK YOU!
Truly, I couldn’t have done this without your generous support. We are this much closer to changing the status quo!
Now, the real race to #FlipTheFifth truly begins! It’ll be a sprint to the finish to defeat Jahana Hayes in November, and we don’t have a second to waste.

"NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — George Logan has secured the Republican nomination for Connecticut’s Fifth District, setting up a rematch against Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-Conn.) this November.
“Tonight, delegates cast the first votes in the 2024 election and we’re just getting started,” Logan said in a written statement on Monday evening. “I can’t tell you how many moms and dads I talk to who share how concerned they are because they don’t believe their kids and grandkids will be better off than they were at their age, because everything feels harder today than it used to.”

"Embattled Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., a member of the far-left 'Squad,' recently defended a phrase widely viewed as antisemitic that calls for the 'extermination' of Jews.
Bowman, who is facing a tough primary challenge in New York's 16th Congressional District, made the controversial comments about the phrase 'from the river to the sea' during a debate Monday night against his opponent, Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
'I know some do, others don’t. I do not,' Bowman said when asked by a member of the debate audience whether he believed the phrase was considered hate speech."

"A group of several dozen migrants joined liberal Democrat politicians in New York City on Thursday to protest for even more government benefits for 'newcomers.'
The New York Immigration Coalition joined a group of elected Democrat officials on the steps of City Hall to demand more money from the city budget to be dedicated to migrants, according to Caribbean Life.
The activists demanded an array of higher spending, including an additional $109 million for free legal services for immigrants, $5 million for language services, $25 million in support for two city programs for illegal aliens, and an end to policies that evict migrants from shelters after a prescribed time."
