"HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) —The chief justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court is retiring.
Richard Robinson, who was confirmed as chief justice in May 2018, will remain on the bench until Sept. 6, according to Gov. Ned Lamont (D-Conn.).
Robinson, 66, has served 24 years as a judge, including the most recent six years as Connecticut’s chief justice. Robinson was the first African American to hold the judicial branch’s top job." |
