Yesterday was an incredible day for the
STOP THE BLEED® community.
People around the world participated in the #RaiseYourHand campaign, STOP THE BLEED® Instructors and organizations trained members of their communities, and thousands of people were exposed to the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and its importance in saving lives.
We want to thank each and every one of you for making this
STOP THE BLEED® Day one of the biggest yet!
We couldn’t do this without you, and we are so proud of the
STOP THE BLEED® community.
The STOP THE BLEED® campaign saves lives, and
we still have work to do!
According to study ([link removed]) released just this week by the Ohio State University, only 49% of Americans feel like they could step in to help during a bleeding emergency.
That means we are always looking for more
STOP THE BLEED® Instructors, Ambassadors and advocates so we can get that number down to zero.

I am passionate about STOP THE BLEED® because I've experienced the devastating consequences of not knowing these techniques firsthand, having lost students due to lack of immediate response. It's crucial to empower individuals with these skills to prevent such devastating outcomes. That's why I go to different schools every month, teaching Stop the Bleed and spreading awareness about the importance of emergency response.
Training is at the heart of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and STOP THE BLEED® Instructors are the ones that make the heart beat! The Instructor Spotlight shines a bright light on individuals engaging their communities about STOP THE BLEED®.

A graduate of the Medical University of the Piast Dynasty in Wrocław and the Medical University of Łódź, specializing in public health, emergency medicine, and crisis management. I earned a PhD in health sciences in 2018, recognized with a Rector's Award. Currently, I head the Laboratory of Innovative Medical Education at the Center for Medical Simulation. I am an expert in first aid and STOP THE BLEED® techniques, employing TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) recommended methods in his workshops. My work in medical education and rescue has garnered me national awards for innovation and contributions to public health and safety.

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.
STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
