The STOP THE BLEED® campaign saves lives, and we still have work to do! According to study released just this week by the Ohio State University, only 49% of Americans feel like they could step in to help during a bleeding emergency. |

That means we are always looking for more STOP THE BLEED® Instructors, Ambassadors and advocates so we can get that number down to zero. |

| Pawel GawlowskiPolandA graduate of the Medical University of the Piast Dynasty in Wrocław and the Medical University of Łódź, specializing in public health, emergency medicine, and crisis management. I earned a PhD in health sciences in 2018, recognized with a Rector's Award. Currently, I head the Laboratory of Innovative Medical Education at the Center for Medical Simulation. I am an expert in first aid and STOP THE BLEED® techniques, employing TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) recommended methods in his workshops. My work in medical education and rescue has garnered me national awards for innovation and contributions to public health and safety. |

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project. STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition. |
