John, this Friday marks two years since a gunman armed with an AR-15 opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killing 19 students and two teachers.

John, tomorrow marks two years since a gunman armed with an AR-15 opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX, killing 19 students and two teachers.

But there's a reason why memorials like this one are so important, a reason why we must continue to remember gun violence massacres like the one in in Uvalde despite the pain. Because by remembering these tragedies and refusing to go numb, we have the power to move the needle on gun violence.

That's why a generous group of donors has offered to match every dollar up to our $100,000 commemoration goal. So please, join me by taking action as we remember the 19 children and two teachers killed: Please, donate to Brady today to fuel our fight for a future free from gun violence. Every gift up to $100,000 will be doubled by a generous group of donors →

As a gun violence survivor and mom, this epidemic is deeply personal for me. And I know that's how it is for the families in Uvalde and maybe for you too, John.

Whether or not your life has been personally impacted by gun violence, it can be incredibly tempting to tune out the news. It can feel easier to turn away and try to forget horrific shootings like the one at Uvalde. Sometimes I want to do just that.

But I know that we can’t ignore this crisis, because it’s not going away. And I know that it is only together that we will accomplish life-saving change in our nation.

That's why it's so important that people like you and me remain committed to this fight, even when it's hard, even when it's painful. I know that you'll do whatever it takes to keep our communities and our children safe from gun violence. That's why I'm asking you to double your impact in the fight to prevent another tragedy like Uvalde by giving a matched gift today.
