John, tomorrow marks two years since a gunman armed with an AR-15 opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX, killing 19 students and two teachers.

Like the families in Uvalde, I am a survivor of gun violence — my mom was shot and killed opening the door to her home. That's why I'm resolute in my commitment to make sure no other families experience the pain and loss that gun violence survivors do every day.
