Breaking news, team:

The Supreme Court upheld Louisiana’s new congressional map with two majority-Black districts, giving voters a fairer map to use this November.

This is a HUGE victory for voters not just in Louisiana, but across the country.

Republicans tried and failed to toss out this map and push forth a map that likely violated the Voting Rights Act — and now, the path to securing a Democratic House majority could run through the Bayou State.

Just like in Groundwork’s target state Alabama, this win for a fairer congressional map comes after months of community organizing to ensure Black voters get the representation they deserve.

Now, the next phase of our work starts. Please, help us keep this momentum going by investing even more in progressive organizing throughout the Deep South, Appalachia, and the Plains by chipping in $10 now: [[link removed]]
