This year, the government rolled out a revised Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, process. It had a shaky launch riddled with delays and errors, causing financial uncertainty for many Pittsburgh high schoolers and local colleges ([link removed]) .
Colleges typically ask new students to commit and make deposits by May 1, but hundreds have pushed back their deadlines this year.
