This year, the government rolled out a revised Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, process. It had a shaky launch riddled with delays and errors, causing financial uncertainty for many Pittsburgh high schoolers and local colleges

Colleges typically ask new students to commit and make deposits by May 1, but hundreds have pushed back their deadlines this year.
