Happy Teacher Appreciation Week, John!
As a product of public schools in Rockland, Mondaire knows firsthand how important teachers are to a child's success. It was his educators and experience in East Ramapo public schools that motivated him to get involved in politics and allowed a kid who grew up on food stamps and in Section 8 housing to graduate from Harvard Law.
Our teachers play an indispensable role in our children’s future. Yet, far too often, these dedicated professionals don't receive the recognition or compensation they deserve for their vital work.
One of Mondaire's top priorities has always been fighting for our teachers and public schools. That's why during his time in Congress, Mondaire proudly served on the House Committee on Education and Labor, where he successfully fought to increase educational funding across the country.
Mondaire is committed to continuing that fight when he returns to Congress, ensuring that our educators and public schools receive the support they need to thrive. If you agree that we need to invest in our public schools and give teachers the respect they deserve, add your name to our petition today >>

Mondaire Jones is running for Congress to finish the work he started last term. He’s ready to fight to lower costs for residents of the Hudson Valley, defend our democracy, raise wages, and protect reproductive rights for all. And he’s doing it without a penny from corporate PACs. Donate today to build our grassroots movement and send Mondaire Jones back to Congress and back to work.
