Happy Teacher Appreciation Week, John!

As a product of public schools in Rockland, Mondaire knows firsthand how important teachers are to a child's success. It was his educators and experience in East Ramapo public schools that motivated him to get involved in politics and allowed a kid who grew up on food stamps and in Section 8 housing to graduate from Harvard Law.

Our teachers play an indispensable role in our children's future. Yet, far too often, these dedicated professionals don't receive the recognition or compensation they deserve for their vital work.
