Annual Conference Opening Plenary Reminder
During our opening plenary at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7, Bishop Farr intends to spend that session discussing General Conference and its impact on United Methodist churches in Missouri. General Conference Legislative Recap
The recent General Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, was a historic one! The voting body got lots of work done and passed many major items, including a new budget, lower apportionments, regionalization, removal of restrictive language and more. DS Rodgers-Weaver sent an email yesterday letting Southwest District Annual Conference attendees know that we will not be having a formal Southwest District gathering while at Annual Conference this year.
