Here is an urgent update on the latest we're seeing on the ground:

Over 35,000 people have been reported killed - nearly 70% of the fatalities in Gaza are women and children.

Only 11 hospitals are partially functioning for a population of over 2 million. Only 20% of Gaza’s primary care facilities are functioning.

With an estimated 1.7 million people displaced in Gaza, shelters are facing extreme overcrowding, raising concerns about the spread of deadly diseases.

Our most recent shipments containing 13 tons of medical aid arrived in Gaza in March and April, including medications to treat diabetes and hypertension.

Since October, Americares has delivered a total of 19 tons of medicine and medical supplies to Gaza, including enough medicine to fill over 200,000 prescriptions.
