Fellow Conservative,

Only American citizens should vote in our elections. And Congressional representation and Electoral College votes should be based solely on the needs of American citizens—not illegal immigrants. But the left refuses to support voter ID laws and wants to include illegal aliens and noncitizens in Census data to manipulate the numbers and put Americans last. This is how conservatives are fighting back:
The Equal Representation Act - American Representation is for American Citizens
In 2010, Democrats removed the citizenship question from the census, making it impossible to distinguish between American citizens and non-citizens. This fundamentally distorts representation because the census is used to draw congressional districts and delegate representation in Congress and the electoral college.

By counting non-citizens, representation will not be based on the number of Americans in an area, but on the number of people regardless of their citizenship status.

The Equal Representation Act (S. 3659 / H.R. 7109) would restore the citizenship question to the census so that only American citizens receive representation.

The grassroots have been pushing Congress for weeks by urging their members to support this bill and the results show. 114 Representatives <[link removed]> have cosponsored this bill in the House and 23 Senators <[link removed]> have cosponsored the companion bill in the Senate.

Next week, this bill is expected to receive a vote on the House floor. Now is the time to keep up the pressure. What more fundamental duty could Congress have than to protect the very foundation of equal representation for citizens of the United States?

Save American Elections with the SAVE Act
Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) has introduced a bill called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act). This bill will very simply ensure states require proof of citizenship before allowing individuals to vote.

While citizenship is already required to vote, many states have little to no requirements for proving citizenship at the polls. w. For example, many states accept drivers’ licenses as proof of citizenship, but do not require proof of citizenship to acquire that drivers’ license. This makes it impossible to tell who is really eligible to vote in our elections.

Since Biden’s inauguration more than 10 million illegal aliens have entered our country. With so many loopholes, it creates a number of opportunities for non-citizens to vote in our elections.

The SAVE Act would end these loopholes and bring greater integrity to our elections.

You're Paying for Someone Else's Loans
Opposition continues to grow to Biden’s political stunt that would transfer more than $150 billion onto the backs of taxpayers—i.e. YOU.

Only 13% <[link removed]> of U.S. adults have student loan debt. In a move to essentially buy political support, Biden is making another attempt to transfer their debt to the remaining 87% of adults who either:

- Never went to college and therefore don’t have student loans
- Already paid off their loans
- Worked through college to graduate with minimal to no debt
Biden has already tried transferring student debt, most notably by exploiting authorities provided by Congress in the Higher Education Relief Opportunities for Students Act of 2003 (HEROES Act), but this plan was quickly rejected by the Supreme Court. <[link removed]>

Not one to let those pesky checks and balances get in his way, Biden openly declared that the Supreme Court “didn’t stop me” <[link removed]> and is now trying again.

Updates from the States
Oklahoma

The Sooner State is leading the nation on two major issues: election integrity and border security. This week, Governor Stitt signed into law a Ranked-Choice Voting ban and a bill to ban sanctuary cities.
Elections should be simple; the majority vote-getter wins. HB 3156 would ensure that Ranked-Choice Voting <[link removed]> (RCV) cannot muddy the waters and allow candidates to win without majority support. This important bill keeps RCV from undermining Oklahoma’s republican process and undermining confidence in election results.

In addition, HB 4156 would prohibit cities from refusing to cooperate with federal law enforcement and shielding illegal immigrants from prosecution and/or deportation. So-called “sanctuary cities” create incentives for more people to illegally cross our borders and break our laws, and this important bill puts an end to them in Oklahoma

The steps that Oklahoma has taken should be repeated across the country.

Alabama

The Yellowhammer State has also taken the initiative to secure its elections by banning RCV. States are realizing that Ranked-Choice Voting undermines the integrity of our elections by confusing and disenfranchising voters.

According to the Heritage Foundation’s Election Integrity Scorecard <[link removed]>, Alabama ranks 6th out of 51 for election integrity.

South Carolina

South Carolina’s Senate passed H. 4624, a “Help Not Harm” bill that would protect children from sex-denying surgeries and cross-sex hormones for minors. Anyone younger than 18 is legally barred from buying alcohol, tobacco, getting permanent tattoos and even voting. Why then should it be legal to undergo life-altering, experimental, and extremely dangerous surgeries?

It’s now up to South Carolina’s House to pass this bill and send it to Governor McMaster’s desk as soon as possible.
Heritage Action is proud to work on the important issues of the day. We look forward to advancing the conservative movement across the country. Thank you for your continued support. This work is only possible because of you.
