Elections should be simple; the majority vote-getter wins. HB 3156 would ensure that Ranked-Choice Voting (RCV) cannot muddy the waters and allow candidates to win without majority support. This important bill keeps RCV from undermining Oklahoma’s republican process and undermining confidence in election results.
In addition, HB 4156 would prohibit cities from refusing to cooperate with federal law enforcement and shielding illegal immigrants from prosecution and/or deportation. So-called “sanctuary cities” create incentives for more people to illegally cross our borders and break our laws, and this important bill puts an end to them in Oklahoma
The steps that Oklahoma has taken should be repeated across the country.

Alabama
The Yellowhammer State has also taken the initiative to secure its elections by banning RCV. States are realizing that Ranked-Choice Voting undermines the integrity of our elections by confusing and disenfranchising voters.
According to the Heritage Foundation’s Election Integrity Scorecard, Alabama ranks 6th out of 51 for election integrity.

South Carolina
South Carolina’s Senate passed H. 4624, a “Help Not Harm” bill that would protect children from sex-denying surgeries and cross-sex hormones for minors. Anyone younger than 18 is legally barred from buying alcohol, tobacco, getting permanent tattoos and even voting. Why then should it be legal to undergo life-altering, experimental, and extremely dangerous surgeries?
It’s now up to South Carolina’s House to pass this bill and send it to Governor McMaster’s desk as soon as possible.
