Friend —

Big news everyone!

Monday, April 13th at 7pm, our Chapter will be hosting its first ever “Virtual Endorsement Town Hall” -- with our very own Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI-13).

Rashida is facing a tough primary opponent this cycle from the corporate wing of the Democratic Party. So we’re going to need all hands on deck to defend Rashida’s seat in Congress. But first, we’ve got to approve her endorsement!

Only members in good standing of Metro-Detroit DSA will be able to join the Zoom call and ask questions. Members of the public can tune into the town hall on Facebook Live <[link removed]>, which will be posted on our Facebook page. If you are not yet a member or if you need to renew your membership, you can do so here <[link removed]>.

To participate in the endorsement town hall via Zoom, register for the event here <[link removed]>. The registration form will allow you to leave a question for Rashida. If your question is selected, you’ll be contacted by a member of the Electoral Committee -- so be prepared to ask it over Zoom!

Prior to the meeting, download one of these amazing #DefendRashida Zoom backgrounds <[link removed]>, designed by one of our members, Shira Kresch!

After the Town Hall with Rashida, we’ll be hosting a Chapter-wide happy hour over Zoom to debrief and decompress!

Solidarity,

Natasha
