The Fort Kearny Expo showcases the vast range of outdoor activities in Nebraska ? and lets you try them yourself, for free! Visit?Fort Kearny State Recreation Area [ [link removed] ]?*from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.?*to enjoy hands-on activities of all kinds, with the help of friendly instructors.

Dip your toes into *target shooting, camping skills, bowfishing, archery, outdoor cooking, kayaking and fishing*. Then relax with roasting hot dogs, munching on gourmet s'mores and exploring the aquatic touch tank and Teddy Roosevelt reenactment.

*This event is meant for all ages*, so whether you're an adult interested in broadening your horizons, or a parent hoping to introduce a child to a new skill, this is the place to do it!
