Hey y'all,

It's World Health Day -- and I keep thinking about how thankful I am for all the Texas doctors, nurses, and other health care workers who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis.

They're part of an incredible medical community who protect our lives every day. In the midst of a pandemic, amazing medical professionals in our communities are providing vital care for COVID-19 patients, as well as the many other folks who rely on them.

I survived gunfire during my time in the military and went on to have two complicated and life-threatening pregnancies. I know exactly how important quality, affordable health care is to American families. I'm running for office to make sure our health care providers and all Americans have a health care system that WORKS.

Sign my card thanking all of our health care providers who are fighting to provide critical healthcare every day in the face of enormous sacrifice.
