Hi, it’s Tim Kaine. It’s the weekend, so I’ll be brief:
We need to call out the recently-defeated impeachment trial against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for what it was: a political stunt.
Republicans are doing everything they can to call attention to the crisis on our southern border — everything, that is, except pass our bipartisan bill to enhance border security .
Instead of solving the problem, they chose to walk away — because Donald Trump told them to.
If not for our Democratic Senate majority, Congress would have been ground to a halt debating a sham impeachment trial.
We need to send a message that this behavior is unacceptable from our nation’s leaders. So I have to ask: Will you pitch in $20 or more to help secure and expand our Democratic Senate majority? [[link removed]]
