Ted Cruz has been wrong so many times when it comes to climate science, we’re almost embarrassed *for* him.
In honor of Earth Day today, here are **the 5 times that Ted Cruz has been utterly wrong about climate change** that *we* think are the *most memorable*:
**Top 5 Lies from Ted Cruz on Climate:**

**\#1.** In a 2015 Senate Committee hearing on climate change, Ted Cruz asserted that carbon dioxide couldn't be a culprit of climate change as it's “good for plant life.”
**\#2.** In that same forum, Ted Cruz explained why he's so highly skeptical that climate change is real — he believes the planet “is greener right now” than it’s been in the past.
**\#3.** Sharknado.
[]([link removed] 2023, as California braced for severe, and potentially catastrophic, flooding following Storm Hilary, Ted Cruz fell for one of the oldest tricks on the internet — posting what he assumed was a live shark swimming **on** LA’s 405 freeway. As Ted doesn't even *believe* in the catastrophic impacts of climate change, we felt this was a *particularly* surprising move on his part.
**\#4.** Ted Cruz didn't understand that The Paris Climate Agreement has *nothing* to do with 'people of Paris.'
