Friend — Rick Scott thinks he can get away with lying to us:

* On Monday, he told The Hill that if he wrote a bill banning abortion, it would only start at 15 weeks, except for rape, incest, or the mother's survival.

* Then Tuesday night — 24 hours later — he went on Spectrum News 9 to insist he'd have signed DeSantis' six-week ban into law were he governor today.

* And on Wednesday, the Sun Sentinel reported that Scott left the door open for a FEDERAL ban on abortions at a recent rally — the very same day his campaign said he thought it should be left to the states.

Rick Scott is so extreme he can’t even remember to lie about his stance on abortion.

We can't let him lie to us without facing the consequences, friend: Rush $5 or more now to help an honest pro-choice Democrat like Debbie Mucarsel-Powell send Rick Scott packing.

When Roe v. Wade was overturned, GOP extremists like Scott were eager to celebrate the end of our constitutional right to choose.

But now that the tides are turning, he's just realized how unpopular his "100% pro-life" agenda actually is — and he's desperately trying to backpedal.

Well, friend, Florida won't be fooled so easily. And we can bet that if extremist Republicans take power after this November's election, they will not hesitate to end reproductive rights nationwide.

But we won't let Rick Scott worm his way out of this one.
