States must invest in data systems that enable communities to answer their questions about education and workforce pathways.

Alongside the students, families, and policymakers who need access ([link removed]) to data to guide their decisionmaking, advocacy and nonprofit organizations also need meaningful data access to support their work to foster better education and workforce outcomes. From organizations working toward improvements in economic mobility to community partnerships that seek to increase college attainment, advocates play a critical role in advancing solutions that help individuals and communities thrive.
