States must invest in data systems that enable communities to answer their questions about education and workforce pathways.

Alongside the students, families, and policymakers who need access to data to guide their decisionmaking, advocacy and nonprofit organizations also need meaningful data access to support their work to foster better education and workforce outcomes. From organizations working toward improvements in economic mobility to community partnerships that seek to increase college attainment, advocates play a critical role in advancing solutions that help individuals and communities thrive.

Recently, we sat down with some of our partners to get their perspectives on what it means to have access to quality data that supports their work, their real-world experiences using data, and the challenges they face in accessing that data.

To learn more about the importance of access to data for individuals, the public, and policymakers alike—and how states must reimagine their data systems to enable access—visit our website.
