unemployment this month. Many of them relied on their employer for their
health insurance.

Now, they’re in a position where they might lose coverage during a global
pandemic — left on their own to pay for COVID-19 treatment even if testing
may be free.

[ [link removed] ]The case for Medicare for All has never been more clear. Every person
deserves access to health care. That’s why I’m joining with a coalition of
progressive organizations to call for its passage. Will you join us?

We’re in a crisis. Working
families across the country are already facing unprecedented economic
uncertainty. Alongside Tim Ryan, I’ve introduced a bill that will ensure
emergency cash infusions so that those families can make it through this.

But we need to go further. People deserve a health care system that puts
them first — not the profits of Big Pharma and massive health care
corporations. Now, it’s more important than ever to ramp up our efforts.

for All? With some experts estimating that the unemployment rate could
reach 30%, it’s unquestionable that leaving insurance tied to employment
will lead to unmitigated disaster.
