President Biden just announced a massive expansion to our system of background checks. For decades, unlicensed gun sellers have peddled handguns, long guns, and even assault weapons without conducting background checks on the purchasers.
Under this new regulation, tens of thousands of unlicensed gun sellers, such as those who sell at gun shows or online, will now be required to become licensed and conduct background checks as part of every sale.
