Have you heard the INCREDIBLE news? 

President Biden just announced a massive expansion to our system of background checks. For decades, unlicensed gun sellers have peddled handguns, long guns, and even assault weapons without conducting background checks on the purchasers.

Under this new regulation, tens of thousands of unlicensed gun sellers, such as those who sell at gun shows or online, will now need to conduct background checks as part of every sale. 

You made this happen. When the ATF proposed this in the fall, you came to our educational events to learn more, submitted comments to the ATF supporting the regulation, and donated to help uplift our advocacy efforts. 

This shows, once again, that our work saves lives. It will be more difficult for people who cannot pass a background check or legally possess a firearm to acquire a gun. And that is critical in making our communities safer.
