counterparts, and that number is much lower among women of color.

This national public health crisis has exposed that unequal compensation — as
women disproportionately serve in so many frontline roles — means women are
getting paid less while facing greater risk.

This week, we observed Equal Pay Day, which signifies how long women in this
country would have to work into the year to earn the same salary men did in
2019.Three whole months! The pay discrepancy between men and women in this
country is a disgrace.

Now, during a national crisis, we’re calling on our health care workers,
grocery store workers, delivery drivers and supply chain workers to hold
together the fabric of society. Meanwhile, most are receiving a lesser salary
simply because they're women.

Gina is running in the most competitive district in the country, and if she
wins, we’ll be able to protect our Democratic majority in the House and pass
legislation to finally address the gender wage gap plaguing our system.
