Friends and Supporters,

In just a matter of weeks, the coronavirus outbreak has crippled millions of
American small businesses and sent jobless claims through the roof.

Our nation’s small businesses drive our economic growth and employ millions of
Americans, but without immediate relief, they risk closing forever. In an
effort to provide relief, Congress just introduced thePaycheck Protection
Program (PPP).

The PPP is a $350 billion program that provides 8 weeks of cash-flow
assistance to help small businesses maintain their payroll expenses during this
crisis.

But most importantly, the PPP loan is completely forgiven so long as it is
used to cover payroll costs like salaries, interests on mortgage obligations,
rent, insurance premiums, and utilities.

Here in Southwest Washington, we know how important small businesses are to
our communities, and PPP is a pro-business initiative that seeks to keep them
open.

Rest assured that we are all working together to support American families,
workers, and small businesses as we navigate this crisis to emerge stronger
than ever before.

Thanks,

Team Jaime
