President's Message The 2023–2024 NASN President's Endowment Challenge theme is "Advocating for Equity," which has been the soul of my nursing practice since its beginning. I have always had a passion for serving under-resourced and marginalized populations and a goal of advocating for healthcare equity for all. School nurses must advocate for equity for their students, themselves, and the profession of school nursing. Equity for school nurses includes access to education, current data, research, evidence-based practice, and tool kits and materials to support school nursing practice, all offered through NASN membership. Advocacy and equity will be paramount as we embrace our collective strength at NASN2024, and I can't wait to see you all there! Kate King, DNP, MS, RN, LSN NASN President Better Health.
