Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for February 2024
Preliminary unemployment rates for February 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had the 4th lowest unemployment rate in Michigan for February, with a rate of 3.1%. Rates across the state ranged from 3.0% in Washtenaw County to 18.9% in Mackinac County.
Eighty-one of Michigan?s counties saw an increase in their unemployment rate in February. The median increase across these counties was 0.4%. Ottawa County saw a 0.2% increase from January to February.
