Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for February 2024

Preliminary unemployment rates for February 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had the 4^th lowest unemployment rate in Michigan for February, with a rate of 3.1%. Rates across the state ranged from 3.0% in Washtenaw County to 18.9% in Mackinac County.

Eighty-one of Michigan?s counties saw an increase in their unemployment rate in February. The median increase across these counties was 0.4%. Ottawa County saw a 0.2% increase from January to February.
