One Nation's Plan to Rebuild Australia After the Lockdown Is Lifted

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has proposed a multi-billion-dollar “Advance Australia Fund” to safeguard jobs and to ensure water and energy security for the country.

Senator Hanson said, “While I commend the Morrison Government on its inclusive approach to the National Cabinet and their capacity to respond to the increasing demand on government support, we must have a way of protecting Australian jobs when this virus is contained and ensure borrowed money is spent on projects the Government and Australian people will get a return on.”

The Advance Australia Fund would provide immediate funding to projects including the Hybrid Bradfield Scheme and taking water from Lake Argyle to feed through to southern regions of Western Australia. The fund would also provide money to build a vital gas pipeline from North-Western Australia’s fertile offshore gas fields, to the Eastern states of Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.

The money would also provide trade courses for new apprentices and other vital assets for regional Australia, including storage facilities for food and fuel.

“The Chinese virus has uncovered several vulnerabilities Australia faces and a distressing exposure to job losses because we have focused too heavily on tourism, education and the service industry instead of manufacturing and industry.”

“I understand the need to catch people at a time we are haemorrhaging jobs, but where to after this crisis ends? It pains me to say this, but many businesses will be lost and those looking for work will be forced to make tough decisions on having to move to get a job.”

“The danger with the current stimulus package is that a lot of this money could indirectly flow overseas due to a lack of domestically manufactured products.”

“As politicians, we can create employment that will provide security for many Australian’s who are prepared to work, while building assets that improve and grow the capacity of our nation for the next 100 years or more.”

“I’ve been very strong on building water projects for this nation, and now is the time to activate those schemes.”

People know when times are tough, you can always count on One Nation to deliver. Stephen Andrews, One Nation's Queensland MP for Mirani, has proved this once again by going that extra step.

After learning that many people in his local community were doing it tough due to the federal lockdown measures, Stephen took the initiative to start an emergency food delivery service from his office.

Stephen has explained why he decided to start the emergency supply runs saying "Older people, the sick and infirm, these people are trying to self-isolate, they are trying to get just what they need to be able too, but many can't afford to stock up."

Stephen has also asked others to be mindful of those in their local communities who might be struggling during these difficult times and to do what they can to help.

It goes to show how that touch of common sense and proactivity can help make the lives of those struggling the hardest a little bit easier.

So hats off to Stephen for going above and beyond to look after the people who put their faith in him and for showing the rest of Australia how One Nation gets things done.

The Power of Pauline Hanson’s
Please Explain
Because much of the mainstream media refuses to give One Nation a fair go, we have to work harder than any other party in Australia to get our message to the people.

This means investing time and energy in alternative methods of communication; whether that be this newsletter, Twitter or even YouTube, One Nation has always been ready to go around the gatekeepers.

Take a look at the numbers from One Nation's largest social media platform, Senator Pauline Hanson's Please Explain Facebook page. Over the last seven days, Senator Hanson's page engaged over 3 million people, which is more than popular mainstream media pages like Sunrise, The Today Show and Sky News.

Senator Hanson eclipsed the engagement of other political parties and politicians, most notably leaving Labor Leader Anthony Albanese in the dust.

This is because One Nation has the most passionate and engaged supporters than any other party.

With much of the nation locked down, it is more challenging to get our party's message out through usual methods such as door knocking and road siding. That is why our social media assets are crucial to the party's growth and success now more than ever.

So remember, every time you share a One Nation post, you are not just helping One Nation to get the message out, you are helping One Nation build a better future for all Australians!

Thanks for your support!
That is this weeks recap from One Nation.
While you're here, we'd love to ask a favour. We are a party with fewer resources than Labor with their union donations and the Liberals with their big corporates, but with your help and by listening to the people, we can achieve real change in parliament for the betterment of the country.

One Nation is run on purely grassroots support. We rely on the contributions of mums, dads, daughters and sons from the top to bottom of Australia to stay running as a party and every dollar counts.

We appreciate times are tough but even a small amount of support makes a difference. Your help enables us to keep up the fight in politics and get Australia back on track.
