People know when times are tough, you can always count on One Nation to deliver. Stephen Andrews, One Nation's Queensland MP for Mirani, has proved this once again by going that extra step.
After learning that many people in his local community were doing it tough due to the federal lockdown measures, Stephen took the initiative to start an emergency food delivery service from his office.
Stephen has explained why he decided to start the emergency supply runs saying "Older people, the sick and infirm, these people are trying to self-isolate, they are trying to get just what they need to be able too, but many can't afford to stock up."
Stephen has also asked others to be mindful of those in their local communities who might be struggling during these difficult times and to do what they can to help.
It goes to show how that touch of common sense and proactivity can help make the lives of those struggling the hardest a little bit easier.
So hats off to Stephen for going above and beyond to look after the people who put their faith in him and for showing the rest of Australia how One Nation gets things done.
