I know you aren't surprised, but it has to be said. Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) is still wrong about COVID and he is still pushing vaccine misinformation.

Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) and his guests think it's funny to make fun of people who are fully vaccinated and protected against COVID...

And they think it's funny to push vaccine misinformation that scares people away from getting vaccinated and protected.

[link removed] A lot of people have died with COVID and most have been unvaccinated.

Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) has got jokes, even though nearly 1,200,000 people have died with COVID in the United States alone, including over 1,800 children and teens.

Tragically, that dwarfs the number of deaths worldwide - over 7 million COVID deaths.

But instead of admitting that he has been wrong, Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) continues to push vaccine misinformation. He is one of those folks who seems to want to rewrite COVID history and make people think he has been right all along.

He is gaslighting ( [link removed] ) his listeners when he says things like:

It's Leana Wen...

Now, while Leana Wen ( [link removed] ) did actually say that she believes COVID deaths were overcounted ( [link removed] ) , she did not have any real evidence to back up that claim.

How many COVID vaccines have you had?

So far, there has been:

* the original primary series (two doses if getting Pfizer vaccines) – Dec 2020

* a booster dose – Sept 2021

* the bivalent booster dose which targeted Omnicron variants – Sept 2022

* an updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine which targets XBB.1.5 variant – Sept 2023

* a second dose of the updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine if you are at least 65 years old - February 2024

That means most folks have gotten five doses or maybe six if they are over age 65.

While those who are high risk could have gotten a few extra doses, they still wouldn't be up to ten shots ( [link removed] ) and that is only a small minority of high risk people.

Why make it sound like people need extra COVID shots?

It's propaganda to make you think COVID vaccines don't work.

It is true ( [link removed] ) that the updated bivalent COVID boosters did not undergo new clinical trials in humans ( [link removed] ) because the only change was the strain of the COVID virus. But it is certainly not true that the vaccines didn't work ( [link removed] ) !

The bivalent COVID boosters ( [link removed] ) have been found to be very effective ( [link removed] ) . Remember, these vaccines protected us against the newer Omicron variants.

And isn't it weird that people like Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) don't face any consequences when they promote violent rhetoric ( [link removed] ) against those trying to get people vaccinated and protected?

During his March 27 show, Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) uses the gag in which Charlie Brown is fooled by Lucy with the football as a metaphor for what happens when people get multiple COVID vaccines.

Now who is Lucy in his little scenario?

If Charlie Brown was the one getting the COVID vaccines over and over and over again, then Lucy has to be the one either telling him to get vaccinated and protected or the one actually giving him the vaccine.

And Joe Rogan ( [link removed] ) is the one telling his listeners to tackle ( [link removed] ) and take health care workers ( [link removed] ) and vaccine advocates out ( [link removed] ) . Violent rhetoric ( [link removed] ) that we have seen way too often these days ( [link removed] ) .
