JOHN,

When there’s work to do in Washington, you know I’ll be there fighting the
good fight. But as soon as the bell rings, I’m rushing out the door to catch a
flight back to East Tennessee.

I’ve been making the rounds quite a bit lately, which is undoubtedly my
favorite part of this job. After all, the whole purpose of public service is to
connect with and listen to constituents.

Whether it’s a crowd at Union County’s 33 Diner for β€œBreakfast with Burchett”
or a quick trip to the Blount County 911 call center to drop off a few pizzas,
I cherish every minute I get to spend with the folks who have placed their
trust in me.

Among the many stops I’ve made lately, I was honored to visit New Hope
Children’s Advocacy Center in Maryville, a place dedicated to restoring hope to
abused or traumatized children and their families. I also had time to tour
Rockford Manufacturing Company with Mayor Koellaβ€”a standout leader in East
Tennessee. But the highlight of the last few weeks was definitely a quick stop
at Luttrell Elementary for good conversation and a slice of home-cooked taco
pie.

No matter where I go in East Tennessee, I’m met with a warm welcome that
reminds me how special this place truly is.

I don’t roll up my sleeves and work in the D.C. sewer every week because it’s
funβ€”I do it because you are worth fighting for. Our future is at stake when the
Left is in charge, and I'll continue to do all I can to defend our freedom and
values. It sure isn’t easy, but it’s a privilege I take seriously. Thank you
for trusting me to represent you.

Sincerely,
