JOhn,

Nearly one in three children in the Philippines are affected by stunted growth. Mothers there are working to change that, and so can you! Your donation today can reduce stunting and support mothers around the globe ([link removed] ) .

Stunting is a contributing risk factor to child mortality, according to the World Health Organization. Children with this condition fail to reach their physical and cognitive potential ([link removed] ) . To address this critical issue, mothers like Josephine serve as volunteer cooks at Bungkol Elementary School, preparing nutritious meals for all 282 students. The volunteers add eggplant, malunggay, cassava, snow cabbage, mustard greens and more from the onsite school garden to supply the children with even more nutrients.

There is much more work to be done in the countries we serve worldwide. Please give today to create more opportunities, more school gardens and healthier families ([link removed] ) .

Thank you for joining us,
