Years ago, I received a very valuable bit of wisdom: Focus on what you can control.

For me, that’s my attitude and my work ethic . Particularly when it comes to running for re-election in one of the toughest districts in the country.

My team and I can’t control who our opponents are or how many MAGA millions flood this race. We can control the number of doors we knock on, the efficacy of our strategy, and the strength of the connections we make.
