Dear Friend,

Today, there are few surviving members of the “Greatest Generation” that saved
democracy in World War II. And their service and sacrifices are increasingly at
risk of being forgotten.

I know you agree that we owe a huge debt to the heroes who have flown from
Britain for over a century to defend liberty –– including the nearly 30,000 who
made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II –– and that it is important to
ensure that their proud legacy lives on.

That’s why your support of the American Air Museum in Britain today is so vital. The museum depends on the support of patriotic Americans like you to share the
remarkable stories of American airmen with the world.

Please join today to support the museum’s mission to honor the American airmen
who have flown from Britain.

The American Air Museum is committed to preserving the memories of airmen like
Major Gale Cleven of the 100th bomb group. Given command of the 350th Bomb
Squadron in July 1942, Major Cleven was shot down over Germany on October 8,
1943. He was held as a Prisoner of War until he was able to escape from a forced
march in January 1945. He returned to his base twelve days later.

Major Cleven was one of the heroes featured in the new World War II drama
series, Masters of the Air , which recently aired on Apple TV. The series draws heavily on the amazing
stories our members keep alive at the American Air Museum.

Your first gift today will help the museum ensure that these heroes get the
recognition they deserve.

World War II events like the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge.
