Dear Friend,
Today, there are few surviving members of the “Greatest Generation” that saved democracy in World War II. And their service and sacrifices are increasingly at risk of being forgotten.
I know you agree that we owe a huge debt to the heroes who have flown from Britain for over a century to defend liberty –– including the nearly 30,000 who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II –– and that it is important to ensure that their proud legacy lives on.
That’s why your support of the American Air Museum in Britain today is so vital. The museum depends on the support of patriotic Americans like you to share the remarkable stories of American airmen with the world.
Please join today to support the museum’s mission to honor the American airmen who have flown from Britain.
Joining today unlocks valuable benefits, like FREE admission to the American Air Museum and IWM Duxford, free access to our members-only 360° virtual tour, and your subscription to American Air Museum News. And as a token of our heartfelt gratitude, we’ll send you a digital copy of your membership card!

The American Air Museum is committed to preserving the memories of airmen like Major Gale Cleven of the 100th bomb group. Given command of the 350th Bomb Squadron in July 1942, Major Cleven was shot down over Germany on October 8, 1943. He was held as a Prisoner of War until he was able to escape from a forced march in March 1945. He returned to his base twelve days later.
Major Cleven was one of the heroes featured in the new World War II drama series, Masters of the Air, which recently aired on Apple TV. The series draws heavily on the amazing stories our members keep alive at the American Air Museum.
Your first gift today will help the museum ensure that these heroes get the recognition they deserve.
Your membership will help the museum conserve our collection of historic aircraft and other artifacts, present engaging special exhibits and education programs at the Museum, and expand our interactive website and digital resources.
You will also fuel the museum’s commemoration of key milestones in the history of American air power this year, including the 80th anniversaries of crucial World War II events like the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge.
Please support this important work by joining the American Air Museum in Britain as a member today.

Thank you for helping shine a spotlight on the men and women who put their lives on the line to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today!
Sincerely,

Brandon P. Gregory
