TOPLINES: This poll shows Republican Kevin Lincloln leading Josh by 44% to 40% among likely voters.

APPROVAL RATINGS: Josh is currently more well-known in the district with 37% favorable and 19% unfavorable ratings. Meanwhile, Kevin Lincoln has more room to be defined with 31% favorable and 14% unfavorable.

MESSAGING: Voters who hear only positive messages about our opponent and hear negative messages about Josh will vote for the Republican. We have to make sure voters hear the truth, or else we will lose.

The biggest takeaway from this poll is that we have to make sure voters understand how extreme our opponent is before the GOP starts flooding the airwaves with attacks against Josh.
