The first head-to-head poll between Josh and his opponent Kevin Lincoln just came out showing us down by 4 points. I want to break down the results for you and if you can chip in today to help us keep this seat blue, I’ll leave a link here!

Here’s what we found in the poll:

TOPLINES: This poll shows Republican Kevin Lincloln leading Josh by 44% to 40% among likely voters.

APPROVAL RATINGS: Josh is currently more well-known in the district with 37% favorable and 19% unfavorable ratings. Meanwhile, Kevin Lincoln has more room to be defined with 31% favorable and 14% unfavorable.

MESSAGING: Voters who hear only positive messages about our opponent and hear negative messages about Josh will vote for the Republican. We have to make sure voters hear the truth, or else we will lose.

The biggest takeaway from this poll is that we have to make sure voters understand how extreme our opponent is before the GOP starts flooding the airwaves with attacks against Josh. Will you please rush in a donation today to help us launch our ads and get our message out before the election?
