1 in 9 adults live with pre-diabetes
New research has found that 30% of people living with type 2 diabetes in England are undiagnosed while 1 in 9 adults are living with pre-diabetes. The research found that people typically considered to be low risk could be living with pre-diabetes, and that younger adults living with type 2 are more likely to be undiagnosed. These findings are a reminder that everyone, not just those considered to be high risk, needs to be aware of the signs of type 2 diabetes.
