The Illinois primary is less than two weeks away, and while I'm on the ballot uncontested this time, I've been working hard to uplift other progressive voices.

John, I've said this before: my community is the reason that I ran for Congress in the first place. I wanted to do more to address the issues that our residents were most concerned about, and in just my first year, I'm proud to have:

1️⃣ Co-led the reintroduction of the American Dream and Promise Act in the House
2️⃣ Introduced a bill that allows tenants' to organize against unfair housing practices
3️⃣ Advanced legislation that would allow defrauded veterans a second chance at their education

And the work is just getting started. But looking ahead to November, I have this to say about who the GOP backed to unseat me:

Anti-choice, anti-immigrant, and anti-gun control, my opponent is too extreme of a voice to lead our community to a better future.

To continue giving IL-03 a representative they can rely on to act in accordance with their values, not the values of MAGA Republicans, I'm running a people-first, people-funded campaign to share my story and experience with voters across the district.
