Updated COVID-19 Guidance From the CDC
The CDC eliminated independent COVD-19 guidance, combining it with
guidance for respiratory viruses ([link removed]). The update includes staying away from others until fever is gone and overall symptoms improve for at least 24 hours. Other precautions after returning to normal activities include:
* Wearing a well-fitting mask
* Enhancing hygiene practices
* Maintaining physical distance from others
* Testing for respiratory viruses
People at risk for severe illness, including those who are older than 65 or are immunosuppressed, should continue to take extra precautions, including getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, and taking appropriate antiviral medications.
