The sticker shock we’re experiencing from the gas pump to the grocery store now has a name – greedflation . Unchecked price gouging is preventing Americans from meeting the cost of living, and we can’t let corporations get away with it any longer.

The reality is that inflation [[link removed]] has fallen to 3.1% since its 9.1% peak in June 2022, but Americans are still paying too much for goods due to greedflation. 722 of the world's top corporations made [[link removed]] $1 trillion in windfall profits in 2021 and 2022, and corporate profits, according to the Groundwork Collective, drove 53 percent of [[link removed]] price increases during the second and third quarters of 2023.
