The sticker shock we’re experiencing from the gas pump to the grocery store now has a name – greedflation. Unchecked price gouging is preventing Americans from meeting the cost of living, and we can’t let corporations get away with it any longer. 

The reality is that inflation has fallen to 3.1% since its 9.1% peak in June 2022, but Americans are still paying too much for goods due to greedflation. 722 of the world's top corporations made $1 trillion in windfall profits in 2021 and 2022, and corporate profits, according to the Groundwork Collective, drove 53 percent of price increases during the second and third quarters of 2023.
